My little flathead!!

So, after I pushed and pushed and pushed...our little Whitt Bit is going to be getting a helmet to correct his misshapen head!! Yes, it is totally cosmetic...we want our baby to have a round head....not a flat one!! Nothing medical is going on! We made a frantic trip out to Dallas this past weekend because the sooner the better.... and the facility that images his head is only open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8-11! Um...not a whole lot of options! It happened to be Josh's 4 day weekend, so he took took off one day earlier so we could book it up there! We left Midland when 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night and made it to Weatherford around 12:45 a.m.... and got a hotel! Coop did not sleep at all in the car and he wasn't going to make it one mile further. Whitt slept the whole way! The boys did great in the hotel! Whitten slept in a pack n play and Cooper slept with Daddy....and Mommy got a bed to herself! We were up bright and early the next morning to make the trip to Dallas! I'll spare you the details of the doctor's visit, but it basically boils down to Whitten having mild/moderate plagiocephaly (a flat head) and that he will need a helmet! His differentiation is 6.2 mm and our insurance covers a differentiation of 6 mm or greater! Whew....barely!!!!!!!! We were going to helmet him anyway and just pay out of pocket, but it's so nice that some of it will be covered because it is not cheap! We go back next week for a fitting and then 10 days after that to pick up the helmet! Lots and lots of trips to Dallas! It's going to be a beating, but at least our baby will have a pretty head! A HUGE bonus on our trip to Dallas...we got to meet our new niece, Charli! OH MY WORD!! She is the most beautiful and petite little girl you have ever seen! Seeee.....

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of her with her sweet parents! And just because I want to embarrass Jadi...this is how she put on Cooper's diaper when he was about 2 months old!

I love it! Ha! Judd and Jadi are the cutest parents ever! They are so in love with their sweet baby girl! It's so funny how a dad's conversation changes from fishing and hunting to how much they love their kids and funny poop stories! I can't wait to watch Charli grow up!

Well, I have lots of pictures from our trip! That will have to be in the next post! I'm tired! Our little flathead has decided to start getting up twice a night to feed again!!!! He's like a stinking pirana and can't get his food fast enough!!
