Toys and Books!

Cooper decided to take a head dive into his toy box today! He was hanging half in and half out as I ran to get my camera, and when i got back, this is what I found! I wish I could have captured the first part...it was so hilarious to see half of his little body hanging out! How awesome is this!!!!

Ok...I think I got it!!! Nope, that didn't work! Maybe if I climb on top of the fire place!
Mommy started to get nervous, so she came and got me out!

Wind Blown!

I was looking through old videos trying desperately to recapture Cooper's infancy...it's just going by WAY too fast and I've already started to forget what it was like to have a little baby! He's crawling around everywhere, cruising around the furniture and climbing on top of things. I found him sitting on my treadmill the other day with a big ole happy grin on his face...he was so proud of himself! He is talking so much more these days and LOVES hugs! Anyway, I found so many cute videos that have never been posted because I didn't jump into the blogging world until Coop was 5 months old! So, I just had to post this one of him being wind blown by Josh! He was exactly 3 months old and losing his hair! Poor little balding baby!!

WHAT A DAY!!

Oh my goodness!!! Cooper decided that he absolutely DID NOT want to take a nap today! He's been doing really well, and I thought we had this battle conquered! As soon as I thought I was in control, Cooper decided it was necessary to put me back in my place! I did get him down at one point, but my smart self decided I needed to put something in his room and it woke him up after only 20 minutes...ahhh....I will never do that again! He did a lot of crying and playing in his bed today...but no nap! Finally, at 5:00 I decided he needed to sleep one way or the other, so we decided to take a little drive in the car! Sure enough, that did the trick! However, as soon as we arrived back home, Coop was wide awake! Goodness! So, he ate, took and bath and then wanted to play!! Here are a few pics of Cooper playing with absolutely no sleep! I couldn't decide which ones to post...they were all cute! If you look closely, you can see his ONE tooth!!! The other one is coming up....so I'm just going to blame this day on teething!!
I hope we have a better day tomorrow!

Please don't judge me! I really didn't want to post the video of Cooper laughing because our kitchen table is a disaster, but it was just too cute! The other video of Cooper jumping will probably be his last...he's getting too big!! Of course, we can't ever capture his biggest swing...we always turn on the camera a second too late! Excuse the ear piercing squeals! ENJOY!

Relaxed!

Oh my goodness! For any of you who know my son, you know he NEVER sits still! Dee Dee came over today as Cooper was getting out of the bath, and she wanted to get some snuggles in before I dressed him! He stayed in this position for about 5 minutes....crazy! I guess the bath relaxed him and he decided to take advantage of Dee Dee's love! Of course I had to document this monumental occasion!!
If you look above my right eye, you can see my very first boo-boo! I decided to take a face plant into my xylophone! I cried a lot, but mom took care of me!!

8 months!

It just keeps going...

Well, Cooper has just taken off!! I was so convinced that he wasn't ever going to crawl, have teeth, or pull up....and then it all happened within 2 days!! He's crawling all over the place pulling up on things and "talking" like crazy! I wish I could hit the pause button because these have been the best moments yet...and I'm not ready for them to go away!! He's no longer a little baby any more...he's turning into a little boy that is so full of life and personality! My hands are about to be pretty full! I hope I can keep up with him!
